Aurelis offers a range of sustainable seaweed-based
fertilizers for agriculture and horticulture.
We oversee the journey of the product, from harvest at
sea to final delivery.
Our seaweed farming sites in Denmark and Tanzania provide
us with both cold-water kelps and tropical
Eucheuma species, which we process into soil conditioners,
fertilizers, and biostimulants.

Sustainability on multiple levels
Our fertilizer production not only helps sequester carbon and

The majority of our seaweed used for fertilizer production is
farmed in Tanga, Tanzania, by hundreds of farmers, of
whom over 90% are women.
Seaweed farming provides a sustainable income, helping to
increase economic independence and, in turn,
strengthen their influence in the local community.
Seaweed-based fertilizer is particularly valuable to organic
farmers, especially those in arid climates.
By using tropical seaweed in our production, we make our products
affordable for farmers in countries like Kenya and Tanzania,
while also returning resources, nutrients, and opportunities
for sustainable growth to the communities where we operate.
